A Walk in the Clouds

Call it Romanticism or just a movie buff (of which i am neither actually) but one movie which is very hard to forget is “A Walk in the Clouds”. Produced in the year 1995, by the Zucker brothers, staring Keeanu Reeves and  Aitana Sánchez-Gijón as the main casts.

A must watch if you are the kind who is non-violent by nature and dont like to watch all the aggression and violence and vehemency portrayed in some of the movies nowadays, movies which have become a thrill for youngsters and middle-aged people alike to watch. We have plain forgotten about the essence of what a real movie is or rather was, and this particular movie takes you back to the 1940’s and brings about the aura of realism and beauty and serenity. You learn a lot too, you can actually understand the “making of the wine”… the movie runs you through how wine is actually made and the different processes involved.

All in all its a lovely movie, nice music, very romantic, a lil informative, teaches you about traditions and how far one can go to live up to them…

I’ve watched it 3 times already and still aint tired of watching it. I have been looking for a copy of the movie for many years now, and just recently a very dear person made it available for me. “Thank you so much for watching it with me, even though it wasnt your kinda movie…”

Happy watching…
